Dr. Livia Silvestri , a periodontal specialist , works closely with Dr. Soll in our office as our “in house gum specialist”. By working with Dr. Silvestri we are able to provide you with the convenience of one location and the comfort of constant communication of your treatment.

Mr. Trevor Langchild RDT is a “Master Ceramist” , world renown and highly sought after by leading dental manufactures to consult on emerging cosmetic products. Knowing that the Mona Lisa was not painted by a computer, at Aesthetics in Dentistry we do not place “teeth in a day”. Only a master ceramist can create a truly individualized veneer or all ceramic crown. You deserve to have your new smile be unique to you, not to the parameters set on a computer.

Sophisticated Treatment Technologies

In performing general and cosmetic dentistry procedures, we employ the most sophisticated technology available, such as intra-oral cameras, digital imaging and computer-assisted anaesthesia. As you would expect, all of our treatment room staff are fully certified preventive dental assistants.

Sterilization

In keeping with our professional obligations, we go to great lengths to create a safe and healthy clinical environment. With every new patient, we conduct a Comprehensive Oral Examination that includes a medical history in order to acquaint ourselves with possible conditions that may influence our treatment recommendations. We adhere to stringent infection-control procedures that meet or exceed Canadian Dental Association standards, including:

• Frequent hand-washing using anti-microbial soap
• Putting on new surgical gloves for each patient
• Wearing protective respiration masks at all times, and protective eyewear when required

At the conclusion of each treatment, we thoroughly disinfect the treatment room, scrub and sterilize all instruments (including dental handpieces) and dispose of all paper and plastic items. Ensuring your safety is indeed our highest priority.
